ACTION ON ADDICTION A registered charity offering a range of services for people with a severe dependency on alcohol and/or drugs and their families, including. The website has sections for those involved in providing drug treatment, for drug users, their families and carers and items of public and general interest. www.nta.nhs.uk SUSSEX ALCOHOL & SUBSTANCE USE SERVICES (SASS) This service aims to minimise the misuse of alcohol and other substances and thereby reduce the harm to the individual and the community. Offers one to one confidential counselling for anyone concerned about their own drinking or someone else's. SUSSEX PARTNERSHIP CARERS CHARTER This Carers' Charter is Sussex Partnership Trust’s statement of values, principles and standards in relation to all carers of people who use the organisation’s specialist mental health, learning disability and substance misuse services. Services include information about drugs and alcohol, local drop in services and support groups, and individual appointments. Dig-it is aimed at 11-24 year olds across West Sussex, and aims to provide realistic, interesting and informal information about drugs, alcohol, crime and addiction.
