Carers Support Service, Worthing & District was established in 1991 to provide information and support to carers and former carers, and to enable carers voices to be heard by those providing health and social services.  Details of the different types of service, information and activity we offer can be found under the link How can we help you?

Our service is free and confidential and we follow nationally agreed aims, values and quality standards for local carers support services as laid out by the Kings Fund.  In addition, as we are affiliated to the Princess Royal Trust for Carers we also comply with their standards for carers services.

We aim to respond to all telephone enquiries within 2 working days, and written enquiries within 5 working days.

Our service is hosted by local charity Guild Care, and we receive funding from West Sussex County Council (adults services) and West Sussex Primary Care Trust.  The work we do is monitored by a carer-led Advisory and Review Group, comprised of carers and former carers along with representatives from health and social care services, and Arun District Council.

We have written policies on confidentiality and data protection and complaints and we will be pleased to send you copies of these if you ask us.  Alternatively, please click on the relevant leaflet below.
